Meet Bret Derrickson

Bret Derrickson is the Designated Managing Broker and Owner of Urban Aire Realty, a locally owned, veteran-owned real estate brokerage headquartered in Warrenville, Illinois, serving Warrenville, Naperville, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Aurora, Batavia, St. Charles, and the surrounding western suburbs of Chicago. With more than 25 years of real estate experience, Bret has been an Illinois licensed REALTOR® since 2000 and has successfully guided clients through more than 1,000 real estate transactions.

Since taking the helm of Urban Aire Realty in 2009, Bret has built a reputation for knowledgeable advice, responsive communication, and exceptional client service. His background includes brokerage leadership, residential sales, property management, leasing, community association leadership, and consulting roles with Friedman Real Estate, NCH Property Management, American Invsco, DuKane Realty, and Coldwell Banker. This broad experience allows him to provide practical guidance to buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and real estate investors.

Bret holds the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) designations. He has also been recognized as a Top Producer by the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, earned a Master of Science in Education, and proudly served in the Illinois Army National Guard during the Persian Gulf War.
